Recently we were excited to work with Cameron Hamilton, star of Love Is Blind on Netflix, as he embarked on his ARTAS® hair restoration journey. Not only is Cameron an international TV star, but he is also an accomplished AI/data scientist and entrepreneur in the field of Artificial Intelligence with his own company Alliance AI. When he was looking for a way to restore his hairline by leveraging advanced technologies, the ARTAS® Robotic Hair Restoration System naturally caught his attention. Cameron shared his experience with his millions of social media followers all over the world, and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to do the same.
To begin his journey, Cameron traveled to New York to work with one of the best hair transplant surgeons in the world, Dr. Michael Wolfeld. Dr. Wolfeld is a double board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in the field of hair restoration in Manhattan and was immediately sensitive to the added pressures placed on Cameron from being in the public eye. “You know, I’m on camera all the time,” Cameron explains. His receding hairline was constantly in the spotlight. “I felt like I couldn’t really style it in a way that looked good.” As such, Cameron is looking for natural-looking results that work with his lifestyle. He also has great support and encouragement from Lauren, his wife of three years whom he met on Netflix’s reality show sensation, Love Is Blind. “She wants me to be happy,” he says with a big smile.

The advancement of FUE systems such as the ARTAS® has significantly reduced, and even eliminated, many of those patient concerns. The ARTAS ® procedure is comfortable, leaves no linear scarring, and requires little in terms of recovery or aftercare. After the procedure, ARTAS® patients will see their hair grow in gradually, with full results in 9-12 months.
In the past, many clients have been primarily concerned about the stigma of baldness and undergoing hair restoration treatments. By augmenting the experience with robotics and a futuristic AI program, we hoped to change that—and as you can see from Cameron’s journey, it is working. Venus Versa™ has CE Mark as a multi-application device intended to be used in aesthetic and cosmetic procedures. The SR515 and SR580 applicators have CE Mark for the treatment of benign pigmented epidermal and cutaneous lesions and treatment of benign cutaneous vascular lesions. The HR650/HR650XL and HR690/HR690XL applicators have CE Mark for the removal of unwanted hair and to effect stable long-term or permanent hair reduction for Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV. The AC Dual applicator has CE Mark for the treatment of acne vulgaris. The DiamondPolar™ applicator has CE Mark for non-invasive treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and rhytides on females with Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV. The ARTAS iX™ from Restoration Robotics® is indicated for harvesting hair follicles from the scalp in men diagnosed with androgenic alopecia (male pattern hair loss) who have black or brown straight hair. The ARTAS iX™ from Restoration Robotics® is intended to assist physicians in identifying and extracting hair follicular units from the scalp during hair transplantation; creating recipient sites; and implanting harvested hair follicles.
Venus Epileve™ has CE Mark for hair removal, permanent hair reduction (defined as the long-term stable reduction in the number of hairs re-growing when measured at 6, 9 and 12 months after the completion of a treatment regimen), and the treatment of pseudofolliculitis barbae for all Fitzpatrick skin types.
