It contains multiple actives that increase skin hydration naturally, helping to eliminate fine lines and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, but without heavy oils that can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. FACTORS WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO AGING SKIN

Skin aging has intrinsic (genetic) and extrinsic (environmental) causes. Selecting one’s parents is not an option but making wise lifestyle choices certainly is. Avoiding or protecting against solar radiation is key since experts agree 80% and more of skin aging is caused by ultraviolet radiation. Smoking is another major cause of skin damage, as is ozone and other toxins. These factors all cause free radicals and inflammation, something recognized as contributing to aging in all tissues. Even microtrauma from gravity and countless facial expressions plays a role.

Epidermal and dermal thinning, abnormal cross links in collagen fibrils, elastin destruction, reduced sebum production and stimulation of resident melanocytes cause loss of elasticity, poor tone and texture, fine lines, and uneven pigmentation with mottling and dark or light spots.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

For use in the PM. Apply a small amount with fingertips after cleansing. Massage gently into the face, neck and even the back of hands. Avoid direct contact with eyes.

CAUTION

As with all skin care products, avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with tepid water. If irritation develops, discontinue use immediately and contact a physician before reapplication.
