  1. In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise with one tablespoon each of coconut oil and coconut extract.
  2. Apply the mixture to the scalp and massage it through your hair, out to the tips. Tie your hair in a ponytail or bun and toss on a shower cap to prevent any mess.
  3. Leave the hair mask in for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Pro tip: For extra softness, rinse your hair with a raw apple cider vinegar hair rinse (two to four tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar to 16 ounces of water).

20-Minute Must-Have Makeup Look

No one wants to fuss with a long makeup routine, particularly with a busy schedule, so keeping application steps to a minimum is ideal. The following makeup routine is simple, offers a good daytime look, and can be easily carried into the evening with a little highlighter, darker eyeshadow, or pop of lip color (don’t skip the lip liner) for added drama.

  1. Start with your moisturizer and SPF, followed by a light foundation. (Makeup that’s too heavy will end up sinking into wrinkles.) Don’t forget to blend well along the jawline and down the neck for a smoother, natural-looking application.

  6. Set foundation with a light setting powder to add a matte finish and ensure your look lasts throughout the day.

Moisturizing Mask

Stress causes premature aging and can make skin look dull and dry. While cutting stress out of a busy schedule may be easier said than done, this simple moisturizing mask can give skin the hydration boost its craving. Raw honey is a powerful moisturizer and its antibacterial properties can soothe acne breakouts, while Aloe vera gives skin a major moisture upgrade.

  1. Start with a tablespoon of raw honey and three inches of a fresh-cut Aloe vera leaf.
  2. Cut the Aloe vera lengthwise and scrape out the inner pulp into a small bowl. Blend pulp with honey.
  3. Apply the mixture to the skin using a masking brush, your fingertips, or the back of a spoon. Avoid the eyebrows, eyes, and nostrils.
  4. Leave the mask on for at least 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
  5. Skip foundation to show off your natural glow!
